Voluson i The compact Voluson i comes loaded – with Volume Ultrasound. Volume Ultrasound, enabled by 3D and 4D technologies, allows you to acquire, navigate, optimize and analyze volumetric images in real-time. Acquire raw volumetric data that can be analyzed in different planes after your patient leaves. So you reconstruct the exam instead of rescanning the patient. Not to mention, save time. Real-time 4D imaging in a tiny package. We were impressed by its image quality for such a small machine. It's about the size of two laptop computers and the image quality is quite impressive. In 2D, we would consider this much like the Logiq e, with the bonus of having 4D capabilities. It even has CrossXBeam, SRI II (Speckle Reduction Imaging), and TUI (Tomographic Ultrasound Imaging). This equates it to a late-model Voluson 730. They did a nice job on the user interface, although it leaves something to be desired, it serves its purpose and with a little training it will become no problem. If you're looking for a great portable unit, this thing really does the job. Easy to use, good controls, excellent image quality, good color doppler, all in a small package. We are aware that it had some stability issues early on, and we are told that those are taken care of. Our only issues here were dealing in hooking up external peripherals. |
